From a college party to a wedding at Disney, Caitlyn and Dylan are a match made in heaven. They couple quickly bonded after meeting in Freshman year over guitar skills and computer games. After their first date at Joe’s Crab Shack, the pair was smitten.
The couple started dating in 2011 and Dylan engaged by candle light and Journey’s “Faithfully” 8 years later.
This wedding was shot by another Inspired By Magic photographer (all of you who you can check out here) and I was so proud when I looked at the photos later. Another amazing day with beautiful photos and a beautiful couple.
The couple got ready at the Beach Club and Boardwalk Resorts, and then did a first look before the ceremony right at the entrance to the Boardwalk at Disney. Jenn from Laura Reynolds Artistry did Caitlyn’s hair and makeup. Her dress was from David’s Bridal and was a Galina Signature gown.
Many couples love doing their first look here – the sign going right down to the Boardwalk is a popular place. The pastel colors were perfect this early in the day, too.
We took some photos early in the morning before the ceremony. Like I said, it was super early to the sunrise and soft light made for beautiful photos. This time of day, Epcot is empty to visitors so it’s nice for couples to get that time to themselves away from crowds to get some nice photos.
The actual ceremony took place at the Canadian Pavilion of Epcot. Caitlyn was walked down the aisle by her father, preceded by a flower girl who was not too happy to be the center of attention. It was a lovely ceremony, and felt soft like much of the day did. Just soft and light and easy.
After the ceremony, the couple did balloon photos and petal toss which was so pretty and was also very Disney. Some wedding party photos followed with a walk through France. Then, we headed to the reception!
The couple had their reception at the California Grill. It’s quite popular because of the big windows and lovely view of Magic Kingdom. After all, the castle is what often draws people to Disney.
The cake was simple and perfect. The dancing was next level. The celebration continued all night long.
Overall, this was a perfectly lovely wedding day and we’re so pleased to have captured this couples special celebration.
