Disneyland California is where we headed to for this beautiful Disney wedding. Margaret and John chose the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim to be the backdrop for their fairytale wedding. To be completely honest, it was more magical that anything I have ever seen. The moment I first saw the Cinderella Coach and the white horse it took my breath away. It is always a great when I find couples who share my love for Disney.
My husband and I flew from Orlando, Florida to join Margaret and her family at Disneyland in October. Our day began like always. With the bride and her ladies for hair and makeup. The ladies were in Adventure Tower at the Disneyland Hotel. I was so excited to see her wedding gown. It is one of my favourite parts of the day. Her wedding gown though was fit for a princess. It suited her perfectly. One part of the day that stands out to me the most was when Margarets bridesmaids surprised her with some gifts. They had set a table aside with something new, borrowed and blue. They each said a little something sweet and handed her a trinket. These included things from her birth, pieces from friends weddings and so on. There was not a dry eye in the room. It really was a touching moment.
I will never forget the moment that she saw the Coach for the first time. Her eyes lit up like a kid on Christmas morning. Her fairytale was coming true. I have never seen her smile so big. It was the happiest I have ever seen Margaret and she looked stunning. Soon it was time for her to get into the coach with her dad to make her way to the ceremony. The chairs were places, the rose petals were down and you could hear the sound on the horse coming. The anticipation to see the coach pull up was killing me. I knew it would be magical. And it was like we were right in the middle of a fairytale story, but it was real life. Out she got, and as she made her way down the aisle her bridesmaids just could not hold it together. It was beautiful to see how happy they were for her. John, watched her with a glow in his eye.
After the ceremony, we made our way into the reception space that was spectacular. Disney sure has a way of making things perfect. The tables were set, the cake looked amazing and the mood was set. Margaret and John did their first dance right after their grand entrance and totally nailed it! Throughout the evening, there were moments that were so endearing and hilarious. From dancing with dad and grandma to her crazy aunt jumping out from under her gown. The photobooth was a big hit as it always it. Overall, the wedding day was perfect. I hope Margaret & Jon remember this day for the rest of their lives as one that was really magical, fun and happy.
Cheers to you both!
