This Disney portrait session at Walt Disney World had me so excited. I could not wait to see the new Gran Destino Tower that was recently added onto the Coronado Springs resort. This Mexican themed resort added a new modern themed tower that offers loads of natural light, which was perfect for our portrait session.
The day of our session it was overcast and a bit rainy but we were hopeful that the rain would hold off, so away we went to begin our session on the back lawn of the tower. And wouldn’t you know it, within minutes the rains came? We did our best to hid under the tree canopy for additional photos but eventually were pushed inside for the rest of our session.
I wasn’t mad though. This resort was equally as stunning on the inside as it was on the out. Remember that natural light I was talking about, well we took full advantage. From the staircases to the beautiful wall decor, this resort absolutely offered some great backdrops for us to utilize.
Although these two have not set a date to wed, they mentioned that they are hoping to do so in the next couple of years and are currently enjoying the engagement season of their relationship. Well guys, when the time comes, I would be thrilled to work with you again.
One of my favorite things about being a Disney portrait photographer is that with the wide variety of resort themes, you can choose one that matches your style better. When it comes to popularity, I would say the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is what a lot of people choose but the one I love to work at the most is the Boardwalk Resort. I just love how it has a mix of all styles.
So if you would like to see more Disney sessions, here are a couple of options for you to choose from below:
Disney’s Polynesian Resort Engagement Session
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa Engagement Session
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort
I hope you loved this session from Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.
