Brittany and Jim are a beautiful couple that got married at Disney’s Wedding Pavilion. It was a fall wedding so the weather was totally perfect.
We started the day with Brittany and her wedding party at the Grand Floridian resort. She had so many great details in her dress and in the accessories which I always love. It’s such a great way for a bride to show her personality at the wedding. That crown made the entire outfit and after meeting Brittany, it was so perfect for her. Fairytale Hair and Makeup did her hair and makeup at the resort and it was a lot of fun getting ready with her.
We went to the Wedding Pavillion before the wedding to do the couples’ “first look”. I always love when couples decide to do this because it gives them that private time before the ceremony to just be together and to have that space that most couples really don’t get at all on their wedding day. Jim gifted Brittany with a book and family heirloom which was such a special moment for them.
Brittany and Jim had an evening wedding – the reception was around 7:30 at night – so we did some shots of them together and then with the wedding party and family before the ceremony. Brittany arrived at the ceremony in the carriage with her flower girl. It was my first time seeing it all lit up for night so it was a unique moment for me too.
The whole night felt really magical so I was glad for the opportunity to photograph these moments.
The couple had their firework party and cocktail hour at Italy Isola at Epcot.
The reception was at the American Rotunda at Epcot as well which turned into quite the party. The first dance and toasts were heartfelt and sweet. Brittany’s brother gifted Jim an old Goofy hat he had from when he was young which was a nice memento to their love of Disney.
Mickey and Minnie came out for some fun at the reception. During the group photo, they came out and joined the guests and couples for dancing and cake cutting.
Confetti cannons capped off the end of the night. It was really fun, a true party.
