Epcot Wedding at Walt Disney World with Justin and Desirae

This magical Epcot Wedding at Walt Disney World over the Christmas holidays was absolute perfection. The day began well before the sun began to rise in Orlando, Florida. Since the couple chose to have their Disney Wedding inside Epcot, we were able to get there bright and early and do all of their formal portraits before their guests arrived for the ceremony.

I remember on this particular day, we were welcomed with the most beautiful sunrise and morning light in the Italy pavilion. My photographer’s heart was just bursting to capture as many portraits as we could in all the places. Justin and Desirae got ready separately as they wanted to do their first look at Epcot, we were able to get all the guys’ photos taken care of before the ladies arrived. But then they did, my jaw DROPPED when I saw Desirae’s bridal look. She nailed it! I was so excited for Justin to see his bride.

We tucked everyone away so the couple could share in a private first look together. With a little tap on the shoulder, Justin turned to see all the magic that was his soon-to-be wife, Desirae. I love that he did a lap around her to get a full look at her stunning gown. They were so happy and giddy, that they could not stop smiling. All of this happening, with the most amazing morning light. Once we wrapped up with their photos, we invited back the wedding party to complete all the photos we needed with them. Then it was off to the ceremony.

Epcot weddings provide couples with several location options for their events, but I think Italy may be one of our favourites. It truly feels like you are in Italy. When we got to the ceremony location, all the guests were seated and ready for their ceremony to begin. One thing I really liked was they they decided to celebrate their mother and grandmother with a rose each. They also wrote their own vows and did a hand tying ceremony. Justin and Desirae really put a lot of personal touches into their ceremony.

It wasn’t long before we were back on the bus and driving over to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort for the reception celebration. The ballroom was decorated in pink and gold tones and totally fit for a prince and princess. The couple enjoyed their dinner while their family and wedding party shared well written toasts, filled with love and kind words. They danced their little hearts our and everyone was ready to party!
